HOW CAN YOU CREATE AWARENESS OF YOUR INSTITUTION?

Nowadays, marketing seems to be taking a different and strange turn, in that lots of people; especially those in the training sector, find it quite difficult to adapt. What used to work before doesn't anymore, and there are no books that states the rules for what might work. 
However there are certain things you need to take cognizance of in order to step up your advertising/marketing, they are;
 DO YOU KNOW YOUR UNIQUE SELLING PROPOSITION?
Surprisingly many trainers do not know theirs because they keep following the cliches. Your unique selling proposition is supposed to spell you out wherever you are and your students as well and tells you how you differ from your competitive set.

 If you do not have one, it does not tell your prospective clients anything about you and it is sure to tag you as ‘not existent’. You should ‘fine-tune, get concrete, drill down’. Get one or two sentence wrapper that succinctly captures your essence and sets the stage for just about all marketing/PR that follow.

DO YOU HAVE FACEBOOK, TWITTER, INSTAGRAM OR LINKEDIN ACCOUNTS?
Some trainers think the social media is for children, forgetting the big fact that today's world revolves around the social media and a lot of things become big from them.  Here's the reality: when people talk about you in social media circles,it is either you win or you lose (you win if the comments are positive and lose if they are negative). Nobody wants to lose for sure, so you should impact a good impression in your students and explore ways to get more social media conversation about you. That's how to win today and to keep winning tomorrow.
