WOW!!! CONGRATS TO FORTE OIL.......

FORTE OIL, EMERGES ONE OF NIGERIA'S TOP 100 OIL COMPANIES BY FG. 

      Formerly known as AP PLC., Forte oil has been awarded one of Nigeria's top 100 companies by the Federal Government during a ceremony at the Presidential villa in Abuja.
This business initiative was set up to congratulate major investors and companies that are contributing to the development of the economy as well as creating a platform for interaction in the private and public sector.
   
They also emerged winners of the Pearl Awards which was set aside for the companies listed on the Nigerian stock exchange at an award ceremony in Lagos on Sunday,November 30,2014. The award is to recognize achievers,performers and drivers in the capital market. They also got two others awards which are;'market excellence in share price appreciation ' and 'sectoral leader in the oil and gas sector'. This made them the star of the event. 

The President of the 'Pearl Awards' Mr. Tayo Orekoya, commended Forte Oil for winning this year's edition and urged them to sustain the drive for excellence.

The Group Chief Executive Officer of Forte Oil, Mr Akin Akinfemiwa commented on the award saying; "we are very pleased to be recipient of these awards,which are testament of our commitment to excellence in performance and an unflinching quest for value creation of our shareholders. We remain dedicated to sustaining the trust of the general public and our stakeholders as we continue firmly in our drive to build a long-term successful company;making Forte Oil PLC the investment of choice through positive actions that boost investor confidence at all times".

 Other companies that had awards at the event include; Julius Berger(Sectoral
 leader Construction), Custodian & Allied Insurance(Sectoral leader insurance), Stanbic IBTC (Sectoral leader Banking), Dangote cement( Sectoral leader industrial goods-Building materials, UAC Nigeria(Sectoral leader conglomerates), and many others.
